    Me Myself & I

    • For twenty odd years, I have been working in the entertainment industry (book, record, video, and video game). My various jobs with publishers, then in distribution (Fnac) and media (Canal +, Novapress) have allowed me to consider its different aspects in a globalizing light. Since five years, I have developed a consulting activity in marketing/strategy/advertising with clients such as Payot-Rivages, Livre de Poche, Studiocanal, Naîve, la Fnac… for whom I work on subjects such as brand studies, and the role played by the brands in the market, Internet’s part in advertising, design and undertaking of marketing operations… Simultaneously, I also teach a class at the ESCEM (Tours business school) on the evolution of the entertainment industry, and I belong to the Culture & Management association, a group that is formed of former students of HEC, ESSEC, INSEAD, EM Lyon, and SCIENCES-PO who work in the entertainment industry. The vantage point provided by these different activities allows me to measure the dead weight of old habits, and the blind eye that each player in a specific sector turns on emerging practices from other sectors, not that far remote from them, as opposed to popular belief. It is my outlook on the evolutions of the sectors that I will share with my readers on this blog. Do not hesitate to let me know your remarks.
